FIS TD CERTIFICATION SEMINAR AND UPDATE

Co-Hosted by Cross Country Canada and the Alberta World Cup Society

The FIS TD Certification Seminar and Annual OC/TD Update is intended for any North American TDs who needs to maintain their current certification or who need this experience as a pre-requisite for their next certification level.

Canadian participants please refer to the full details on acquiring and maintaining your certification requirements. These were revised Oct 2012 and are available at: Recertification-review-July-2013

USA participants please refer to the comments below under USA Participants (provided by Matt Pauli).

Canadian Participants:

  • CCC Level 3 - Divisional TDs who are seeking to maintain their certification or those needing this pre-requisite for Level 4.
  • CCC Level 4 - National TDs who are seeking to maintain their certification or those who have been identified by the CCC Events Committee as needing this opportunity as a step to gaining their Level 5 certification.
  • CCC Level 5 – FIS Licensed TDs who are seeking to maintain their certification.
  • Other certified officials wishing to increase their knowledge including in the area of delivering Para-Nordic ski competitions.
  • FIS NorAm, Continental Cup and Nat’l Championships organizers are invited to have key officials attend in an audit capacity, please discuss with Dave Dyer ddyer@cccski.com

USA Participants:

  • Open to all TD levels and Chiefs of Competitions.
  • Level 3 FIS Technical Delegates must participate in a FIS seminar every 2 years to maintain their FIS eligibility.
  • Chiefs of Competitions for U.S. Nationals and Junior Nationals must attend a seminar within 2 years of the competition.
  • Chiefs of Competition for U.S. Super Tour events are encouraged to attend a seminar within 2 years of the competition.
