Canada’s ski community ROCKS!!!

Nakkertok wins the $250,000 Grand Prize from Kraft Heinz Project Play.  

With great thanks to the commitment and support of Cantley, Nakkertok members and the much larger ski community across Canada, we were successful in getting the most votes!!  We really came together as one team to help one of Nakkertok achieve a dream.  Everyone who voted, whether you voted once or 5000 times, you made this dream a reality.

Nakkertok will be using these funds to upgrade trails for four season use and install snowmaking equipment to prolong the ski season, improve the quality of snow throughout the season and provide early season training and racing opportunities for all skiers.       

The Kraft Heinz Project Play initiative has demonstrated both the strong interest of Canada’s cross country ski community in supporting snowmaking capability at facilities like Nakkertok and the willingness of cross country skiers from across Canada to work together to make it happen. Your support was very much appreciated and we hope we can continue to count on your support as we continue to work to improve our trails and make a permanent snowmaking capability at Nakkertok a reality for the benefit of all.
