NCCP CCI AWAD (DRYLAND) MODULE

What: Training for coaches of athletes with a physical disability at the Learning to Train (L2T) and Training to Train (T2T) levels (NB: there is no CCI-Advanced context for AWAD training)
Where: Richmond Olympic Oval in Vancouver, BC. 1054-b, 6111 River Road, Richmond
Dates: Oct 4th -6th 2013

  • Friday 4th October, 6:00-9:30pm
  • Saturday 5th October, 8:30-5:00pm (in conjunction with PN Dryland camp)
  • Optional: Sunday 6th October, 9:00-1:00pm (in conjunction with PN Dryland camp)

The NCCP CCI AWAD (Dryland) Module is comprised of four hours of classroom learning and eight hours of practical training as an assistant coach at a L2T/T2T dryland training camp for athletes with a disability. The classroom and practical components of this module must be completed on the same weekend.

The pre-requisites for taking this module are:

  1.      Community Coach certification
  2.      Successful completion of the Community Coach AWAD Module
  3.      Successful completion of the CCI-L2T (Dryland and On-Snow) workshops

Registration fee: $60.00 per coach/participant.
