NCCP CCI AWAD (ON-SNOW) MODULE
What: Training for coaches of athletes with a physical disability at the Learning to Train (L2T) and Training to Train (T2T) levels (NB: there is no CCI-Advanced context for AWAD training)
Where: Canmore Nordic Centre, Canmore, AB
Date: Dec 8th and 9th 2013
Sunday 8th December, 8:30-5:00pm (IPC World Cup official training day)
Monday 9th December, 9:00-12:00pm (IPC World Cup competition)
The NCCP CCI AWAD (On-snow) Module is comprised of four hours of classroom learning and eight hours of practical training as an assistant coach at a L2T/T2T race for athletes with a disability. The classroom and practical components of this module must be completed on the same weekend.
The pre-requisites for taking this module are:
1. Community Coach certification
2. Successful completion of the Community Coach AWAD Module
3. Successful completion of the CCI-L2T (Dryland and On Snow) workshops
Registration fee: $60.00 per coach/participant.
