To view Cross Country BC’s new website section on Programming for Athletes with a Disability, click here:  http://crosscountrybc.ca/programming-athletes-disability

To view a series of 'fit for life' and 'fit for sport' guides designed for people with specific impairments, click here: http://www.lboro.ac.uk/research/phc/news/download-your-own-fit-for-life--sport-guide-today.html  There are five versions, one each for people with visual impairments, spinal cord injuries, amputations, cerebral palsy and les autres.

These are comprehensive documents containing basic sport information such as considerations for training, diet, sport psych, etc.  They also include specific information that might be relevant to a particular individual, for example hydration for people with spinal cord injuries, training variations for people with visual impairments, etc.  For each group there are two guides, - one targeting people looking to start physical activity (fit for life) and one targeting people ready to start training for sport (fit for sport).

The guides are intended for participants/athletes but are good resources for coaches as well.
