New Timing Equipment for Cross Country Skiing in BC

Cross Country BC is pleased to announce it has acquired new timing equipment thanks to the generous support of the BC Games Society.   Funding was provided through the Society’s Powering Potential Fund, an initiative to strategically invest in projects to further develop sport in BC.

The new Zone4 GoChip timing equipment will be used at this weekend’s 2018 BC Winter Games in Kamloops for the cross country ski events, hosted by the Overlander Ski Club.  In addition to future BC Games, this timing equipment will also be available for our clubs to use for their own event hosting.  With more than 50 competition days across BC each winter, ranging from small local events to regional events and beyond, this equipment will be put to great use.  Details on how clubs can take advantage of this opportunity will be announced shortly.

Cross Country BC would like to thank the BC Games Society for their support in the development of our “sport for life”.

Good luck to all the athletes competing in Kamloops and thank you to Overlander Ski Club and its dedicated volunteers for hosting!
