The Show Must Go On! »

(Rossland, BC) After days of near double-digit temperatures, heavy rains, and the disappearance of almost all our beautiful snow, race cancelation was imminent.  The call for help was made and an army of volunteers rallied to the cause, relocating the entire event to Black Jack’s higher elevation Biathlon trails (1450m) and shovelling snow onto the trails for two full days.  As luck would have it, on race morning we woke up to sub-zero temperatures, bright crisp sunshine high above the clouds and fantastic race conditions given how little snow there was!
