Spring Fling XC Ski Camp (May 12-15)
Sovereign Lake Nordic Club will once again be hosting our annual spring ski camp. Coming off an incredibly successful format last season we will be offering the same concept this year with 4 days of skiing from 7am to 2pm daily. With a significantly deeper snowpack this season we can pretty much guarantee good skiing for May 12-15th with a minimum of 8km of skiing terrain open each day. More will be available if conditions permit.
For Saturday May 14th we are holding the first ever Dual Eliminator X-Cross Sprints. This course is being laid down in our stadium which will include obstacles, jumps, bumps and a pump track. The course is roughly 850 meters long and will test skiers abilities through all types of terrain. There will be a small cash purse for top Male and Female 17+ with additional prizing to top Boy and Girl under 17, a DJ spinning tunes right in the middle of it all and hopefully some draw prizes to participants.
Please read over the attached Race Notice for a full run down of camp events.
*You do not need to be part of a race team to be a part of this camp. Simply book the days you want to attend. All are welcome. There are no day ticket sales and all participants must register online. There is no coaching by Sovereign during this camp. It is simply an on snow training opportunity.
