TRANSFER POLICY FOR NCCP LEVEL 2 CERTIFIED COACHES (CROSS COUNTRY SKIING)

Coaches with minimum Level 2 certification in the old NCCP will automatically be credited with CCI (L2T) “trained” status in the new system. However, to move forward in the new system, achieve CCI certification and advance to the CCI Advanced (T2T) level, a coach must complete the following additional steps:

1) Submit a signed Coach’s Code of Conduct to their Division Office.
2) Submit a completed Emergency Action Plan (EAP) to their Division Office.
3) Submit a completed Facility Safety Checklist to their Division Office.
4) Review Community Coaching (CC) and Competition Coaching Introduction (CCI) materials on Making Ethical Decisions (MED) and successfully complete the CCI MED Online Evaluation.
5) Register on CCC’s Athlete Development Matrix.

Level 2 coaches must complete the above requirements by March 31st 2014 in order to remain active.

If you are eligible for this opportunity, please contact your Division Coaching Coordinator, Verna Wagner (programs@crosscountrybc.ca; 250.545.9600), for an instruction package on how to complete the above tasks.
