Annika Richardson Qualifies for Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer

The following cross country athletes were selected to represent Canada at the 2016 Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway February 12–21, 2016.

  • Annika Richardson – Hollyburn Cross Country Ski Club, BC
  • Levi Nadlersmith – Downtown Nordic, Manitoba

The team size for the 2016 Youth Olympic Games is limited by the FIS (International Ski Federation) Qualification System which allows Canada a quota of one man and one woman.

Four of the top eight qualifiers for the Women’s Team were from BC, and two of the top eight qualifiers for the Men’s Team were from BC.

6.    Andrew Nash – Larch Hills Nordic Society, Salmon Arm
