COMPETITIONS: NEWS & UPDATES as of Nov 16, 2020
Due to current interprovincial competition restrictions in British Columbia, it has been decided that the Rossland competitions from December 18-20, 2020 will no longer be a FIS sanctioned event. The event will continue as a Nordiq Canada Tier 2 sanctioned weekend and the Teck Kootenay Cup and will only be open to BC based athletes and clubs.

BC Cup Series
Teck BC Cup #1, which was scheduled for January 23-24 in Prince George, has been moved to January 9-10 in Whistler.
- Teck BC Cup #1 will be integrated with the World Jr/U23 & Sr Trials
- Saturday, Jan 9th – Interval Start, Free Technique
- Sunday, Jan 10th – Mass Start, Classic Technique
- Age categories offered will be U14 through to Open
- The BC Cup #1 race notice will be posted soon; more details will be made available at that time
2020-21 CPL Points Races Scheduled in BC
NOTICE: If inter-provincial travel to sport competitions is restricted for part or all of the winter season, then the following races will become increasingly important for 2021-22 provincial team selection purposes. If some of these races cannot be held, the remainder will become even more critical to the selection process.

- Jan 9-10 World Jr/U23 & Sr Trials/Teck BC Cup #1 (Whistler); the race notice will be posted soon
- Feb 13-14 Teck BC Cup #2 (Kamloops)

- Feb 26-27 Teck BC Championships (Vernon)
