Exciting Announcement: New sponsorship to benefit all members!
Hi club presidents and key volunteers,
We have some very exciting news: Kal Tire has stepped up to sponsor the Skill Development Program (SDP) in BC! In addition, ALL our members will benefit from an exclusive offer (see below).
This new partnership is a great fit: Kal Tire is a born & bred BC company (started in Vernon in 1953), is very community minded, has stores in just about every club location, and as we know, cross country skiers put on more miles and in harsher winter driving conditions than most.
To start, this sponsorship is only for one year, but we hope to impress Kal Tire enough that this may grow into a significant long term partnership. With almost 18,000 members across BC, more than 2,500 kids in SDP, and countless amazing volunteers, I’m confident we can do just that!
What this partnership will look like in the first year:
- Kal Tire will be the official sponsor of the Skill Development Program in BC, which includes the Bunnyrabbit, Jackrabbit, and Track Attack programs.
- Kal Tire and Bridgestone logos will appear on the Bunnyrabbit & Jackrabbit toques and the Track Attack buffs.
- 100% of sponsorship funds will be passed thru to our clubs to bolster SDP programs. Stay tuned for details.
- All club members will receive an exclusive Kal Tire coupon for a significant discount on new winter tires. Watch for it in our upcoming annual magazine, mailed to members’ homes in early September. Hold off on getting new tires until then and be sure to use the coupon when you buy tires to help CCBC validate the sponsorship!
