This email is to confirm your attendance to the CC LF workshop in Kamloops, October 28-30, 2016. Attached is some information to help you with your planning….
Dates/hours: October 28-30, 2016
Friday, October 28: 8:30am – 9:30pm
Saturday, October 29: 8:30am - 6:30pm (group dinner at 7:00 pm)
Sunday, October 30: 8:30am – 6:30pm

Your room has already been booked and double occupancy will apply where possible. Check-in will be any time after 4:00pm on Thursday, October 27. Check-out will be before 11:00am on Sunday, October 30 (you will want to check out prior to attending the workshop as there will not be a break to enable you to do this).
On site transportation: Please advise CCBC if you will have your own vehicle so that we can arrange car-pooling with all coaches.

Each participant will need to bring the following material. If you don’t have any of these items listed below please notify me and I will ensure they will be at the workshop for you.
- ICC Coach Workbook (2008)
- ICC Reference Material (2008)
- CCC LTAD Guide
- CC Coach Workbook (2011)
- CC Reference Material (2011)
- All your "Learning Facilitator" questions
Expenses:
Out of Province Participants - will cover their own travel expenses. CCBC will invoice you for hotel accommodation and workshop fees after the workshop is done.
BC participants - use attached form to submit expenses to Nancy Beaumont, Program Coordinator #106, 3003 – 30th Street, Vernon BC V1T 9J5. Please note the following:
- Transportation: CCBC will cover the cost of gas for a regular vehicle for travel to and from the workshop. Receipts required.
- Accommodations: CCBC will pay for accommodation for 3 nights (28th, 29th, 30th ). Based on double occupancy. Participants are free to stay with friends or family in the area (CONFIRM with CCBC office so we can cancel your room reservations).
- Meals:
- Continental Breakfast provided at the Best Western Plus for all guests staying at the hotel.
- CCBC will provide refreshments/coffee breaks during the workshop session to all participants. CCBC will provide for the working dinner on Friday night as well as the working lunch on Sunday. Please notify Nancy Beaumont if you have any food allergies.
- We hope you will join us for the group dinner which has been arranged for the Saturday evening - each attendee pays for their own.
- All other meal arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the participant. (There is a small coffee/sandwich spot in the lobby of the Tournament Capital Centre…very limited menu but it is convenient if you don’t want to leave the building).
- There are many restaurants in close proximity to the Tournament Capital Centre and Best Western Plus http://www.urbanspoon.com/n/85/47686/British-Columbia/Downtown-Kamloops-restaurants - in the Search area, under Location, type in TRU, BC
Miscellaneous: This is a long workshop with full days, so please wear something comfortable. You may also want to bring a water bottle that can be refilled, as we will not be supplying bottles of water. You are welcome to bring a laptop and other digital devices with you; however, we do ask that you not have these items accessible during the workshop…it can be distracting to yourself and others.
