2026 BC Ski Team and Dev Squad Drop in Camps

CCBC offered two drop-in camps for BC Ski Team and BC Development Squad athletes to take advantage of some time on our roller ski treadmill and on the trails of Whistler Olympic Park without the structure of a provincial team camp. CCBC coaches Chris Manhard and Zach Hill worked with athletes on technical focus areas on the treadmill and then applied this focus to the roller ski track thereafter. They offered two intensity sessions building on the technical focus areas each athlete were developing and the remainging technical work was done at a longer slow distance pace. 

With smaller groups coaches were able to get some one-on-one time with athletes and video analysis for the athletes that were present. 

This was a self-directed camp where athletes were responsible for their own transport and accommodations.
