Club Officials,
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, CCBC will be hosting two virtual Officials Level 1 (OL1) courses using a web-based online meeting format called Zoom. This will replace our usual “in-class” courses for this season.
The OL1 is an eight hour course that provides an overview of what a cross country ski competition is all about. The focus is on the duties of minor officials for both ‘Olympic’ style (interval start, mass start, pursuit start, individual sprint, team sprint and relay) and ‘Loppet’ style (mass participation) competitions. The minimum age is 16 years as of the start of the course.
The cost of this course has been reduced to $50 (usually $85) for CCBC members. Once registered, you will receive an automatic receipt that you can then submit for reimbursement from your club, if your club is covering this cost.
If you are interested please choose one of the dates below. We are restricting attendance to 15 attendees per course. If both courses fill up, we will consider offering a 3rd date.
