‘Skiing is Believing Clinics’ Available to CCBC Clubs

CCBC Member Clubs,

Skiing is Believing Clinics have been very successful in helping to introduce cross country skiing to individuals with a physical disability.  As I’m sure you are aware, cross country skiers from BC had exceptional results at the 2018 and 2022 Paralympic Games. Also, the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club in Prince George hosted the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships in February 2019 (this was the first time this event has been held in Canada) and has recently been awarded the FIS Para Nordic World Cup Finals in March 2024. Let’s build on these successes by introducing our sport to new athletes and training more of our coaches to support these athletes.

If your club would like to host something similar please let me know.  You can also include the 3-hour NCCP AWAD module training for your Community Coach (or higher) trained coaches, if you wish.

Please contact me at programs@crosscountrybc.ca if you would like to book a clinic.

Kindest regards,
