2016 National Championships Trip Selection Criteria

Dates:  March 17 - 26, 2015
Number of athletes to be selected:  up to 12 
Selection races:  2015 National Championships

Selection Criteria:

Selection will be based on the following:

1.    Year of birth aggregate rankings at the 2015 National Championships for athletes who competed  in Juvenile Boy (1999, 2000, 2001), Junior Boy (1997, 1998), Junior Men (1995, 1996), Juvenile Girl (1999, 2000, 2001), Junior Girl (1997, 1998) and Junior Women (1995, 1996) categories.

2.    Aggregate rankings at the 2015 National Championships for athletes who competed in the U23 categories and will still be eligible to compete in those categories at the 2016 National Championships – U23 Men/Women (1993, 1994).  

3.    In the case where athletes have the same aggregate ranking (for example four third-place rankings), the aggregate points total for each athlete will be used to compare/rank them.

4.    The athlete is a current member of Cross Country BC in good standing with the Association.

5.    Athletes that accept their nomination travel to and attend the National Championships as part of the BC Ski Team.
