“Cross country skier Molly Miller (Kimberley) was presented with the Athlete Excellence Award, a $2,500 bursary, for her outstanding leadership and community involvement, sport achievement and academic excellence. This award is funded through the Powering Potential Fund established by the BC Games Society.”

2019 Canada Winter Games 'Flag Point' ranking - #1 for BC in cross country skiing

At the Canada Winter Games ‘Flag Points’ are calculated to assess the depth of provincial/territorial sport programs and to provide a benchmark for future development. Below are the 2019 Flag Point rankings for the sport of cross country skiing.

The above figures show that Cross Country BC was ranked #1 province/territory overall.  This is the second time our division has achieved top ranking at the Canada Winter Games!  The first time was in 2015.
