2019  CCBC B-Tour

Location:  Europe TBD
Dates:  Early January, 2019
Number of athletes to be selected:  up to 10

Selection Criteria:

1.    Eligible athletes must meet the age requirements to compete in the 2019 World Junior Championships, 2019 World U23 Championships or be older.

2.    Eligible athletes must be current members of Cross Country BC in good standing with the Association.

3.    Eligible athletes must be current members of the 2018-19 BC Ski Team or BC Development Squad.

4.    Athletes who are Sport Canada carded in 2018-19 automatically qualify.

5.    Athletes named to 2018-19 CCC National Junior or Senior Teams automatically qualify.

6.    Athletes who met or were within one point of their distance and/or sprint IPBs in the 2017-18 ski season.automatically qualify (see https://cccski.com/National-Ski-Team/Selection-Criteria/Athletes-Meeting-CCC-s-International-Points-Benchm.aspx?lang=en-CA)

7.    Athletes who are eligible according to criteria 1, 2 and 3 but are not selected according to criteria 4, 5, or 6 will be accepted for remaining positions (if available) at the discretion of the Athlete Development Committee.

8.    Athletes who accept their nomination must travel with and attend the CCBC B-Tour as part of the BC Ski Team.
