2021-22 Nordiq Canada Coaching Licence - action required by all coaches including SDP coaches

Coaches can now start signing up for their 2021-22 Nordiq Canada Coaching License

As of July 1st, 2021 all coaches coaching for more than seven hours/year must sign up for the Nordiq Canada (NC) Coaching Licence before starting to coach from July 1st 2021 to June 30th 2022 . The NC Coaching Licence is necessary in order to have continued coverage from NC/CCBC's liability insurance coverage along with other benefits.

The NC coaching licence is aimed at all active cross country ski coaches in Canada who are coaching more than seven hours per year with a NC/CCBC member club.  An “active” coach is anyone who performs typical coaching tasks with a member club, including delivering practices or assisting with delivery of practices,with any age group (Bunnyrabbits to Masters),

Personal information collected is kept private and may only be used for risk management, planning and communication purposes between NC, the coach’s club and division. 

The licence is renewable on a yearly basis, starting June 15th and effective on July 1st of each year.
