Annual Para Nordic Development Camp, Classification and Qualification Races

Hold the dates for the Annual Para Nordic Development Camp, November 17-19, 2023, in Canmore, AB. National classification will be available for new athletes during the camp. Details and registration will be available in September.

IPC International Classification:
November 19-20 there will be an international classification for PI (physical impairment) and VI (visual impairment), in Canmore, AB for eligible athletes. Please speak with Bjorn Taylor (btaylor@nordiqcanada.ca) to confirm eligibility for international classification. All documents for classification both for national and international classification opportunities, must be submitted in ENGLISH (the deadline to submit will be shared in Sept) with supporting materials to Bjorn Taylor.

FIS Para COC Races:
November 21 & 22 – FIS PSS Para Cross Country Continental Cup races – 5km F and 10 CL. Canada will use these races for PN WC race qualification for athletes meeting FIS PSS race eligibility. November 25 & 26 – FIS PSS Para Biathlon sanctioned races – Calforex Cup # 1. Canada will use these races for PN WC race qualification for athletes meeting FIS PSS race eligibility. *Athletes must be IPC classification eligible, FIS PSS Para licensed and a member in good standing to be eligible for PN FIS PSS points and PN WC qualification consideration.
