Len Apedaile (Strathcona Nordic Ski Club, Courtenay) wins Best Official Award at International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Sport and Media Awards

Congratulations to Len Apedaile (Strathcona Nordic Ski Club, Courtenay) on winning the 2019 Best Official at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Sport and Media Awards!  Following the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games, where he was Technical Delegate for the Nordic competitions, Len worked tirelessly with the PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games Organizing Committee to educate them on best practices.  During the 2018 Games he acted as race director for both Biathlon and Cross-Country Skiing and liaised closely with his Olympic counterparts.
