BC Ski Team/BC Development Squad Fall Testing Camp (Whistler, BC) 

October 14-18th, 2020

Cross Country BC’s fifth provincial camp since the COVID-19 breakout finished successfully on Sunday the 18th. 38 athletes attended from across the province – Revelstoke, Prince George, Whistler, Smithers, Burnaby, Courtenay, Enderby, North Vancouver, Kelowna, Rossland, Campbell River, Pemberton, Fernie, Salmon Arm, North Vancouver and Vernon.

The fall camp program included sessions with a focus on technique, endurance training, V02 testing and critical speed testing with IMU data chips to analyze cadence, power and glide length.

Cross Country BC would like to thank the Nordiq Canada Development Fund (NCDF) for supporting this camp and helping to keep costs down for our athletes.  The NCDF is an endowment fund that supports developing high performance athletes. The next provincial camps will be the BC Ski Team, BC Development Squad and BC Talent Squad Camps which will be held simultaneously in Vernon.  Dates: November 11-15th.
