CCBC Protocol Regarding the Use of Fluorinated Waxes

The FIS and all snow sports in North America have agreed to a ban on fluorinated waxes going forward. Nordiq Canada has chosen to include Tier 2 sanctioned races (provincial cup-level races) within the scope of their fluoro ban, but this will only apply to those age categories that are eligible for CPL points. More details will be shared as they become available.

As a result of the above changes, CCBC has updated its policy regarding the use of fluorinated waxes to align with Nordiq Canada’s position. To view the new CCBC policy click here.
