Coaches Can Now Sign Up For Their 2022-23 NC Coaching License

The Nordiq Canada (NC) coaching license is mandatory for all active cross country ski coaches in Canada who are coaching with a registered cross country ski club for 7 hours a year or more.

All coaches coaching for more than 7 hours/year must sign up for a 2022-23 Coaching License (July 1st 2022 to June 30th 2023) before starting to coach in order to continue benefiting from NC liability insurance coverage and other benefits. Note, however, that only coaches who meet NC Minimum Mandatory Coaching Qualifications and have a valid Coaching License will benefit from Nordiq Canada’s liability insurance coverage.  The license is renewable on a yearly basis starting June 15th and becoming effective on July 1st of each year.

An “active” coach is anyone who performs typical coaching tasks with a registered club, including delivering practices or assisting with delivery of practices, with any age group, for at least 7 hours per year.

Personal information collected is kept private and may only be used for risk management, planning and communication purposes between Nordiq Canada, the coach’s division and their club.
