High Performance NCCP Coach Course Grant

The Nordiq Canada Women's Committee is offering up to 4 grants to subsidize participation by female coaches in NCCP courses at the T2T level or higher. Two grants of $600 will be offered to coaches for travel to a different province from which they reside to attend a course. Two grants of $400 will be offered to coaches traveling within their province to attend a course. Grants will be for courses occurring between April 1st 2022 – October 30, 2022

Team Club Culture Grant

Nordiq Canada Women’s Committee is committed to supporting and helping with female athlete retention in the sport of cross-country skiing. The committee recognizes that a major contributing factor to female athletes' motivation to stay in sport is the concept of relatedness and a sense of belonging. One of the best ways to increase an athlete’s relatedness is to value and strengthen positive team culture. Through this grant(s) we are looking to provide teams with the resources they need to improve team culture and create a space where female athletes want to be and want to ski. This grant will help fund a team-building project that your team produces.
