Opportunity:
Head Coach – Bulkley Valley Cross Country Ski Club

The Bulkley Valley Cross Country Ski Club is seeking a highly motivated and skilled club coach available for a seasonal position starting in September 2020. A race-focused part-time engagement is also an option.

The Bulkley Valley Cross Country Ski Club (“BVCCSC”) is an organization of approximately 600 members in Smithers, British Columbia and has strong skier development and school programs.  Club athletes compete in both cross country and biathlon Provincial and regional competitions, NORAM events, and National Championships.  

Responsibilities:

• Overall program coordination for racers, Track Attack, Jackrabbits, Ski S'kool. 
• Build seasonal and weekly training plans, suited to the needs of each cohort.
• Provide mentorship to our dedicated group of volunteer coaches.
• Support the organization of camps, races and other events.
