JOB NOTICE – STAFF FOR HAIG GLACIER OPERATION
Would you like to be part of one of the most unique Nordic Training Facilities in the World? The Haig Glacier Operation is looking for easy going, fit, handy individuals for its summer operation.
Our current schedule is roughly June 25th to Aug 30th, the work schedule is two weeks in and one week out, there is some flexibility there.
The main duties up there include the operation of Helicopter management, Grooming, Cooking, Drinking and Grey water management, Solar electrical, propane heating, and general building maintenance. This may sound like a lot, and it is, but these hard skills can be learned. What is most important to a successful camp is the ability to work with others and work well with coaches and athletes; an easy-going, colorful personality is an asset, but you also need to know when to drop the hammer.
The work environment is remote and away from civilization, it is not for everyone.
