Larch Hills Nordic Society (Salmon Arm) Hires Head Coach

We are thrilled to announce that Glenn Bond will be assuming the role of Head Coach for Larch Hills Nordic Ski Team!

Glenn has been working with our team for the past five years as a volunteer coach.  In that time, he has provided coaching and mentorship both to the athletes on the team as well as to the other volunteer coaches.  He is currently a NCCP Comp-Dev coach ’in training’.

Glenn has been cross country skiing for 38 years: 10 years through school and college, 10 years full time chasing the Olympic Dream and 15 years racing loppets. Glenn has experience coaching cross country skiing at all levels from kids, junior development, and adults.

From Glenn: “I am excited to expand my role as Head Coach of the Larch Hills Ski Team. From the first day I brought my kids to join the team, I have been impressed with the Larch Hills community of coaches, parents and athletes. The volunteerism is incredible, and it truly takes a village to accomplish great things.  I look forward to working with the incredible team at Larch Hills.”
