NOTICE: Teck Kootenay Cup1 & 2 (Rossland) will proceed as planned

The Western Canada Cup has been moved from Rossland to Vernon, but thanks to the snowfall over the weekend, the race organizers will still be able to host the Teck Kootenay Cup 1 & 2 races on December 11th and 12th.

In order to do this the event needs to be moved from the main ski area to the biathlon venue, and courses and times will be adjusted accordingly.  The Black Jack Cross Country Ski Club website is currently being updated with details - http://www.skiblackjack.ca/news/2021/10/17/canada-cup-kootenay-cup-dec-11-12.

Registration for the Teck Kootenay Cup has been extended until midnight, Wednesday, December 8th.  Link: https://zone4.ca/event/2021/westerncanadacupblackjack/.  A link for a Team Captains Meeting on Friday, December 10th will sent to coaches who have registered on Zone 4.

All regular age categories will be offered at the Teck Kootenay Cup.

All registered athletes over 12 as well as coaches and volunteers must provide proof of vaccination.

Note:  The Western Canada Cup, now in Vernon, will only offer Open and U20 age categories.
