Racing Returns!

The first official cross country ski competition to be held in this province in more than 20 months got underway today at the Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre in Vernon.  More than 280 athletes from BC, Alberta, Yukon, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and across the US from as far away as Vermont and Alaska are competing in the FIS sanctioned Western Canada Cup race.  The weekend event also includes the Mexican National Ski Championships.
