2020 CCBC B-Tour

Location:  France, Germany & Austria (tentative)
Dates:  February 12 - March 3, 2020 (tentative)
Number of athletes to be selected: up to 8

Selection Criteria:

1.    Eligible athletes must meet the age requirements to compete in the 2020 World Junior Championships, 2020 World U23 Championships or be older.

2.    Eligible athletes must be current members of Cross Country BC in good standing with the Association.

3.    Eligible athletes must be current members of the 2019-20 BC Ski Team or BC Development Squad, with BC Ski Team athletes having preference.

4.    Athletes who were Sport Canada carded in 2018-19 and/or 2019-20 automatically qualify.

5.    Athletes named to 2019-20 Nordiq Canada National Junior or Senior Teams automatically qualify.

6.    Athletes who met or were within one point of their distance and/or sprint International Performance Benchmarks (IPBs) in the 2018-19 ski season automatically qualify unless the number of athletes meeting criteria #3, #4, and #5 exceeds eight, in which case selection will be based on the highest ranked athletes in either distance or sprint (using Benchmarks based on end-of-season CPL points). 7     Athletes who are eligible according to criteria #1, #2 and #3 but are not selected according to criteria #4, #5, or #6 will be accepted for remaining positions (if available) based on their 2018-19 IPB ranking (using Benchmarks based on end-of-season CPL points).

8.    Athletes who accept their nomination must travel with and attend the CCBC B-Tour as part of the BC Ski Team
