Skiing is Believing Clinic & NCCP Community Coach AWAD Module

Attention Coaches: An NCCP Athletes With A Disability (AWAD) Module will be held in conjunction with this clinic for coaches looking to add this module to their coach training. For coaches wishing to pursue this training, the first step is to complete the prescribed mainstream program and become a NCCP ‘trained’ Community Coach.
The “NCCP Community Coaching AWAD Module” is comprised of two hours of classroom learning, one hour of training as an observer coach at an entry level camp, and two hours of training as an assistant coach helping at the same camp. The classroom and practical components of this module must be completed on the same weekend.
The pre-requisites for taking this module are:
- successfully completed the online Coach Initiation in Sport module;
- successfully completed the online Introduction to Community Coach module;
- successfully completed the NCCP Community Coaching workshop
AWAD workshop Registration Fee: $65.00 per coach/participant.
